Within the Social campaign „Start with yourself – Do not allow” of the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB) was created a video, that invites to be honest and not to allow the corruption in everyday live.
The aim of the social campaign „Start with yourself - Do not allow!” is to encourage the society not to allow the corruptive actions, when corruptive decisions are taken in court and everyday life, not to allow the force of money to prevail over the justice.
This video is demonstrated in the screens of the State Revenue Service and Enterprise Register centers.
From 4rd August this video can be watched in the „Facebook” page of the KNAB „Mēs pret korupciju” and soon in the local communication sites „Draugiem.lv” and „Odnoklassniki.ru”.
From 7th August the video will be seen in cinemas of Latvia „Kino Citadele”, „Multikino”, „Cinamon”, „Silver Screen Daugavpils," "Silver Screen Rēzekne", “Balle” (Liepāja), „Gaisma” (Valmiera), „Kino Rio” (Ventspils), „Kino Lora” (Sigulda) and Cēsu cinema.
In the video screens of the Riga public transport this video will be visible from the 2nd September.
The author of this video is Edgars Trankalis, who, in the year of 2011, with this video participated in the pupil’s contest of creative videos, which aim was to promote young people's awareness of the consequences of corruption and to invite them to participate in its eradication.
