Informational campaign “CORRUPTION SUFFOCATES! Report by using the KNAB app”

The campaign “CORRUPTION SUFFOCATES! Report by using the KNAB app” is carried out by the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau of Latvia with the support of the European Economic Area grants from Iceland, Lichtenstein and Norway.

The campaign aims to raise public awareness of the impact of corruption on the rule of law and the country’s well-being, as well as to encourage society to report corruption on the newly developed KNAB online reporting platform or its mobile app, “Report to KNAB!” (in Latvian – “Ziņo KNAB!”).

The campaign is carried out from 8 until 29 September, 2023.

Reporting platform “Ziņo KNAB!”

The reporting platform “Ziņo KNAB!” has online and mobile app version. On the platform, it is possible to submit a report on alleged corruption as a natural or legal person, by authorizing and revealing one’s identity, or anonymously. It is also possible to submit whistle-blower reports in accordance with the Whistleblowing Law of Latvia.

After submitting the application, the reporter receives a unique identification number that allows to follow the progress of the submitted information and provides both feedback and an opportunity to further communicate with KNAB on the respective matter.
