Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB) in cooperation with the Kuldīgas City Council organized informative day, where inhabitants of Kurzeme obtained knowledge of the KNAB specifics.
On 12 June the Director of KNAB Jaroslavs Streļčenoks with several KNAB officials and media representatives provided information about corruption trends in Kurzeme region.
In the Kuldīga City Council hall KNAB representatives in presence explained areas of KNAB expertise to local government officials.
In turn, in the city square, in the KNAB informative tent everyone had the opportunity to gain information about the negative consequences of corruption and had an opportunity to report about violations, as well as individuals were able to receive consultations from KNAB professionals concerning outstanding questions.
During the event information concerning reporting options to KNAB was shared with the attendees.
