The Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB) have started a criminal proceeding for possible offences in public service (bribery). In the frame of criminal proceeding the action of official of Riga municipality stock company “Rīgas Centrāltirgus” (Riga Centralmarket) will be evaluated.
During this criminal proceeding one person was recognised as a suspect and has been applied non-custodial security features.

KNAB states that no person is considered guilty until his guilt of a criminal offence is proved in accordance with the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Law.
