KNAB enacts administrative sanction to the Head of Ogre Social Services
On 19 June, 2014 the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB), reviewing administrative violation file relating to the Head of Ogre Social Services Sarmīte Ozoliņa, detected that S. Ozoliņa failed to comply with provisions of the law “On Prevention of Conflicts of Interest in Activities of Public Officials” (COI) on special restrictions on additional employment for public officials, provided for in the Section 7.
KNAB decided to enact administrative liability for violation of restrictions of additional employment for public officials and procedures for fulfilment of restriction on additional employment for public officials that be prohibited, in accordance with the Latvian Administrative Violations Code, part 166.30 and to fine S.Ozoliņa with 85 euros.

KNAB enacts administrative sanction to the Ogre municipality deputy
On 10 June, 2014 the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB), reviewing administrative violation file relating to the Ogre municipality deputy Māris Legzdiņš, detected that M. Legzdiņš failed to comply with provisions of the law “On Prevention of Conflicts of Interest in Activities of Public Officials” (COI) on special restrictions on additional employment for public officials, provided for in the Section 10.
KNAB decided to enact administrative liability for violation of restrictions of commercial activities for public officials in accordance with the Latvian Administrative Violations Code, part 166.30 and to fine M.Legzdiņš with 120 euros.

On 19 June, 2014 the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB), reviewing administrative violation file relating to the Head of Carnikava Sport center Roberts Raimo, detected that R. Raimo failed to comply with provisions of the law “On Prevention of Conflicts of Interest in Activities of Public Officials” (COI) on special restrictions on additional employment for public officials, provided for in the Section 7.
KNAB decided to enact administrative sanctions for violation of restrictions of additional employment for public officials and procedures for fulfilment of restriction on additional employment for public officials should that be prohibited, in accordance with the Latvian Administrative Violations Code, part 166.30 and to fine R.Raimo with 80 euros.

KNAB enacts administrative sanction to the Executive Director of Līvāni District Council
On 8 July, 2014 the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB), after having reviewed administrative violation file relating to the Executive Director of Līvāni District Council Uldis Skreivers, detected that U. Skreivers has not complied with provisions of the law “On Prevention of Conflicts of Interest in Activities of Public Officials” (COI) on special restrictions on combining offices of public officials, provided for in the Section 7 and Section 9.
KNAB decided to enact administrative liability for violation of restrictions of additional employment for public officials and procedures for fulfilment of restriction on additional employment for public officials should that be prohibited, in accordance with the Latvian Administrative Violations Code, part 166.30 and to fine U.Skrivans with 85 euros.

On 9 July, 2014 the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB), reviewing administrative violation file relating to the State Police Official, the Latgales region administration Rēzekne station Criminal police inspector Dairis Grišins, detected that D. Grišins failed to observe provisions of the law “On Prevention of Conflicts of Interest in Activities of Public Officials” (COI) on special restrictions on additional employment of public officials, provided for in the Section 19.
KNAB decided to enact administrative liability for violation of restrictions of additional employment for public officials and procedures for fulfilment of restriction on additional employment for public officials should that be prohibited, in accordance with the Latvian Administrative Violations Code, part 166.30 and to fine D.Grišins with 100 euros.

On 3 July, 2014 the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB), reviewing administrative violation file relating to the Board Member of the Ziemeļkurzemes regional hospital Kristīne Bidzāne, detected that K. Bidzāne failed to observe the provisions of the law “On Prevention of Conflicts of Interest in Activities of Public Officials” (COI) on special restrictions on combining offices of public officials, provided for in the Section 7.
KNAB decided to enact administrative liability for violation of restrictions of additional employment for public officials and procedures for fulfilment of restriction on additional employment for public officials should that be prohibited, in accordance with the Latvian Administrative Violations Code, part 166.30 and to fine K.Bidzāne with 100 euros.

On 10 July, 2014 the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB), reviewing administrative violation file relating to the Executive Director of Zemgales planning region Valdis Veips, detected that V.Veips failed to observe the provisions of the law “On Prevention of Conflicts of Interest in Activities of Public Officials” (COI) on special restrictions on additional employment for public officials, provided for in the Section 18.
KNAB decided to enact administrative liability for violation of restrictions of additional employment for public officials and procedures for fulfilment of restriction on additional employment for public officials should that be prohibited, in accordance with the Latvian Administrative Violations Code, part 166.30 and to fine V.Veips with 80 euros.
