The Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB) have sent criminal proceeding materials to the Prosecutors General Office, asking to initiate a criminal prosecution against two persons for Forging Official Documents.
During the pre-trial investigation, KNAB found, that official from the Daugavpils municipal stock company “Daugavpils siltumtīkli” forged a document, which was related to the leasing of the immovable property of the local government.
Investigator from the KNAB asks to initiate a criminal prosecution against the official from the Daugavpils municipal stock company “Daugavpils siltumtīkli” for the Forging Official documents (1st Chapter of the Article 327 of the Criminal Law) and against entrepreneur for the Forging Official documents, and participation in the committing of a criminal offence (1st Chapter of the Article 327 and 4th Chapter of the Article 20 of the Criminal Law).
KNAB states that no one person is considered as guilty until his guilt of a criminal offence is proved in accordance with the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Law.
