On 10 February of 2015 the Management of the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau participated in the session of the Corruption Prevention Committee in Saeima, which aim was to discuss the proposals, made by group of experts, for the improvement of the work and supervision of the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau.
During this session were decided to send a letter to the government of Latvia with request to faster moving forward proposals of the State Chancellery working group for amendments in existing law to increase the effectiveness of the work of Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau.
In accordance with the information Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau has, provided by the State Chancellery, proposals for the amendments is intended to move forward for review during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers already in February of 2015.
