On 6th April Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau called for the Anti-Corruption Policy Foreign Advisory Panel (FAP) meeting.
The Foreign Advisory Panel - consultative body - has been created to coordinate bilateral and multilateral assistance to the Bureau. It is a framework where the international community acquires first-hand information on the anti-corruption issues.
During this meeting members of diplomatic missions and international organizations were informed on lines of activities of the National Strategy for Corruption Prevention and Combating for 2004-2008, that has been adopted by the government on 8th of March. Apart from the National Strategy, brief information on current results and achievements of the Bureau was submitted during the meeting.
Main subject of discussions included activities of the Bureau alone with improvement of legal anti-corruption framework, education of society on anti-corruption issues and status of the Bureau.
Development of foreign assistance projects and support for the implementation of those was also discussed by the officials of the Bureau and the attendees.
